Superfly participates in lectures and study groups orientated by the Childrens Institute ( www.institutodacriança.org.br) together with groups in Rio de Janeiro that created Life Project.

In partnership with the fire department, using motorized paragliders over flying the beaches pilots find swimmers in danger of drowning.

Dropping large inflatable balls to the swimmers in distress the coast guard is alerted and send out rescue teams. This eamwork has resulted in international recognition and reports in the world press – with artcles published in LE FIGARO, the press in CHINA, HOLLAN and SWITZERLAND

In July 2002 Ruy presented his innovations at the World Congress for Rescue in Holland At the moment Superfly is the only company in the world that can certificate pilots using motorized paragliders for search and reascue missions on the coast.
